We had a beautiful day at the pumpkin patch. After receiving a tour from Mrs. Priest we picked our pumpkins and had many picture opportunities. After lunch we went to Island park to feed the geese and to play at the playground. The kids had a great time and wanted to see how close they could get to the geese. |

Stop and take a close look at yourself today. How many designer or company logos can you find on your clothes, your briefcase or purse? One? Two? Five? We are seduced by the status that we assume these symbols give, and willingly become walking billboard advertisements for dozens of corporations and fashion gurus on a daily basis. Now look again and see if you can find a logo that advertises God. Oh that, you shrug, I’m not into those WWJD bracelets or T-shirts with in-your-face Christian slogans. OK, but then how do people know that Christ is the “designer” of your life? Is He lifted up and carried proudly in your heart and “on your sleeve”? Can people walk into any room of your life and say, ahhh, I see you prefer Jesus’ style. Take a moment’s pause today and ask yourself, do my actions reflect Jesus’ name-brand or have I hidden Him in the bottom drawer with my castoffs? If you find that His emblem, His cross is missing from your wardrobe, perhaps it’s time for a change in fashion. ©Copyright 2008 C L Enterprises |
