Altar Servers

Assists the priest at Mass with various tasks including carrying the cross, candles, and/or incense, providing the prayer book or Sacramentary for the priest to read when needed and as directed prepares the altar for the Eucharist. Will be scheduled on a rotating basis and is responsible for finding a replacement if they are unable to serve.

CYO Breakfasts

Every first Sunday of the month, the CYO sponsors a breakfast at the parish to raise funds for their events that take place throughout the year. Youth meet at the parish hall at 7:50 a.m., prepare and serve the breakfast, and finish with cleanup around 2:00 p.m.

March for Life

This pilgrimage occurs each January. Youth from the parish travel by bus to Washington, D.C. for a couple of days of sightseeing and then participate in the march from the National Mall to the Supreme Court building to show their support for the Culture of Life and voice their opposition to the decision in Roe v. Wade which legalized abortion on demand.

Youth participating in this event will also be involved with fundraising efforts prior to the trip. Funds from these events will be used to help subsidize the cost of the trip for the youth. To receive assistance with the cost, youth must work at the fundraisers.

Bible Study

Youth meet at the parish and then travel to Daylight Donuts for some breakfast and interactive Bible study. The study lasts 45 minutes and involves a scripture reading and then brief discussion along with questions and answers.

Jr. High Youth Group: Grades 7-8

Plans and attends parish and diocesan events. Youth involved with the CYO or Jr. High Youth Group will experience many events full of fun and fellowship, while maintaining an atmosphere that is both prayerful and exciting. The CYO meets on the first Sunday of every month immediately following the end of the CYO Breakfast.
